Jolivette Anderson "The Poet Warrior" is a Literary Performance Artist and owner of She Prophecy Entertainment LLC. She shares her energy with others in the capacity of performance poet, workshop facilitator and youth organizer. She is currently a resident of Lafayette, IN where she is researching the migration of Blacks from Mississippi to Chicago and surrounding areas while working full time as an arts administrator on the university level for a Black Cultural Center.

While she has performed as the opening act for legendary artists (Patti LaBelle, Brian McKnight, Jonathan Butler & the Tom Joyner Comedy Revue featuringJ. Anthony Brown) at venues around the world, her mission and purpose is deeply rooted in re-telling the history of Black people. Representing the power and beauty of the feminine energy and voice, she organizes and operates the services of She Prophecy Entertainment LLC. Using Literary Arts to entertain, educate and liberate is the work of She Prophecy, and Jolivette's vision involves strengthening the self-image of Black youth by incorporating innovative ways of teaching into the classroom with literary arts at the forefront of the education process. Her primary contribution to the liberation of Black people globally is through her development and implementation of the D. Ciphers Language Migration: Explorations in Reading, Writing & Critical Thinking Cultural Identity Curriculum. The curriculum encourages and promotes 'true education' recogniz ing that Education is a Civil and Human Right for everyone.

Jolivette credits her parents, Helen and the late Jethro H. Anderson Sr. for who she is today. "My parents did one of the most revolutionary things two people could do, they stayed together until death and raised 5 of their own and indirectly helped to raise an entire community of children by living their life according to their Christian principles." She also credits her siblings J. Jerene, Jethro Jr., Arve & Quintina and a host of relatives, extended family and friends in helping her maintain her commitment and devotion to family. "I do nothing without the ancestors, the elders and the love of those who are in my life and want to see me happy, healthy and healed."

Sharing her vision with others through performances, lectures and workshops is "The Poet Warriors Tour of Duty".
